V Day paddy

In Indonesia, Valentine's Day isn't really a thing that I've noticed. Unlike in Cambodia, where everyone practically has a carnival and celebrates like a public holiday. UK may fall somewhere in the middle. I haven't got the best Valentine's Day record: two years ago I was looking at skulls from the Cambodian genocide and one year ago I was making clothing faux pas. This year I am in Aceh, Sumatra, looking at these paddies out of the back of the hotel. Under sharia law, where I may lose a hand if I was to express my views in public.

The best V Day gift the world can give me today is a good night's sleep. Does anyone else find that the thickness and softness of a pillow can make or break a night?
