Day 39 - Red sky at morning......

I saw an orange glow through the bathroom window this morning, it was this amazing sky. We should have heeded the warning of the morning red sky. The snow yesterday evening had turned to rain in the valley, but we all thought there would be lots more fresh snow on the mountain. There was a lot of snow, but the temperature was rising rapidly and by midday it was impossibly heavy to ski through and getting dangerous. Then the rain came again, so home we all went for lunch.
