LIGULARIA:

This plant is a paradox. It has the most wonderful mahogany coloured leaves, the size of elephant ears, which I adore; but the flowers are orange, the colour of marigolds, which I hate ! Marigolds are my least favourite plants in the entire garden & I simply won't tolerate them..........but I put up with these flowers for the sake of their leaves. They're really quite wondrous.
