Mine was in the wash. Honest.

This morning after lady sp33d left for work I found myself in the glums somewhat, due mainly to the fact that I had to go and sign on again after being made redundant a month and a half ago. After going through the necessaries I was making my way back along the road feeling sorry for myself when I walked past a little girl skipping on the pavement singing 'jingle bells', which brought a much needed BIGMANSMILE to my face. It cheered me up so much I turned around and told the dad walking next to her how much his little girl singing like that had made my day, which in turn made him smile which in turn made her sing her socks off even louder.

If only everything in life could be made that little bit better so easily.

[edit: It's a year ago today that my blipcards were kindly given to me by blipcentral. I've used them as makeshift bookmarks, folded the odd one in half to unwonk a wonky table leg and I've even used pieces of one to plug a rawplug hole in the wall. But apart from leaving one in a library or in a gallery or even mistakingly dropping a load in an abandoned building I was photographing (all of which I hope I picked up) I'm STILL to find someone to actually pass one on to, person to person - I did try once but the bloke looked at me as if I was a bit weird and I've not tried since.)
