Elf
Now it's a well known fact that elves and dwarves don't really get along, but I am happy to report that even Grumpy had a smile by the end of watching it.
The rules.
1. Treat every day like Christmas.
2. There's room for everyone on the nice list.
3. The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.
Of course it's nonsense. It's Crimbo nonsense. It's Crimbo nonsense with bells on. But you know what, after finishing watching, I've decided that the world needs more of it. This is a great family feel good movie in the same mould as Jack Frost, A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, The Bishop's Wife (the 1947 Cary Grant version... of course), Groundhog Day, and various others. It makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. About the start of December I usually start recording and watching the Movie 24 channel to help get me into the Crimbo spirit. That place is full of them each of them containing enough sugar and syrup to coat a few dozen pancakes.
Elf will be joining the line-up.
