College Burn
Snow today - that very British variety of wet snow - and sleet and rain, in no particular order. MrM drove us to Ad Gefrin late morning, where Louie enjoyed a walk.
Then we drove a little further up the valley, almost to Kirknewton, walked along a track, and MrM went off to do his "squirrel duties" while I strolled over to the College Burn, camera in hand. Disturbed a couple of deer, but failed to get a decent photo - they were just too quick!
Back home for a bite to eat before setting off for Alnmouth and a walk on the beach. There was "weather" coming in, as they say, and we didn't stay out long in the the wind and driving rain. Though Louie seems impervious to the cold and wet! Tackled the supermarket shop before treating ourselves to fish & chips in Alnwick - eating in, rather than our usual take-out in the car. Posh!
Home to a cosy evening in front of the TV - two episodes of 'Trapped', a drama set in Iceland, accompanied by a wee dram of Jura!
