This "save the date" card arrived in the mail yesterday.  Middle daughter and her sisters are planning a 50th wedding anniversary party for us on August 20, which is our actual anniversary AND it's on a Saturday, just like it was 50 years ago.  It's become a tradition here to send an early informational note or card and then the actual invitation will go out early in the summer.  It's going to be wonderful to have all our family and lots of friends together!!!!  I knew middle daughter was up to something when she asked for some of the "old" pictures of us..... :)
