8 minute overhead pass tonight - rose in the west and sank in the east, thereabouts.
Looking at the thumbnail, it appears that the picture has been compromised....there should be a solid white line from the tree...thats 30 seconds of the pass. You can also see Orion, Auriga, Taurus and Pleiades, amongst a number of other stars and constellations. Given that this was 6pm and the sky to the West was still quite light, it is a miracle I picked up any detail at all.
We had a visit from Pete today - Sparky made himself at home soon enough. Clearly, the Dunwood males have something that makes them very appealing to cats.
