Blip world say "Hello" to Sunshimmer God of Mischief............or as he is better known........Loki.

His sister Sunshimmer Amazing Legacy...... or Keo........ is today's extra shot.

A few years ago when our Bengal Leopard cat Pasha had to be put to sleep Helen and I decided we were having no more pets.......we'd had a dog and several cats.........the S & H and the Daughter had had mice, hamsters, goldfish and rats.....even a pony............over 30 years.......so we decided, "That's it, enough, no more".....................after all we were going to retire......we had things to do..........places to see.

Things are a bit different now........don't know how much traveling I'll be doing..........I'll soon be on my own in this house.....so I was thinking about another cat....not a dog.........not until I can get my dodgy knee sorted.

The local animal rescue centre was favourite.....but they've really gone way over the top...........you have to apply, visit the chosen animal, be interviewed, have the house inspected, have the neighbourhood inspected, get the animal chipped and neutered, and make a hefty donation.....still I was going ahead......until the Daughter found another website.......and these two turned up.

Back with their original breeders..........just under two years old.........chipped, neutered and vaccinated...returned to the breeder because the owner couldn't cope with two cats.........and a very reasonable price. We phoned on Wednesday night.........visited on Thursday night...the breeder thought I was the ideal person to have them.......he cancelled several other appointments from interested parties........took them to the vets yesterday........printed off the vaccination record......the microchip data and the official pedigree..........and we picked them up this morning.

They are F4 Bengal Leopard Cats..........Loki is officially a Seal Lynx Snow Spotted...........and Keo is a Brown Black Rosetted........they will take time to settle in and get used to us.........especially Charlotte and Hannah........but they have been exploring and allowing us to stroke them.

The only thing is................I'm thinking of changing Keo's pet name to something more Nordic to match up with Loki.......Freya maybe.

I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of them in the coming weeks and months.
