Hamburg

One of the most favorite venues in all the world for the musicians is the Laeiszhalle  in Hamburg.  Lang Lang performed the Greig Piano Concerto again on this night, to a sold out crowd.  The concert hall is quite beautiful inside with fabulous acoustics, but there are many obstructed-view seats and most in the first and second tiers had to stand throughout Lang Lang’s performance in order to see him. I don’t think anyone minded. 

Hamburg is the birthplace of Johannes Brahms.
