WE FOUND SNOW

Left Volklingen in Germany at 8:30 and drove for 3 hours to Stuttgart....still no snow...we meant to stop earlier for breakfast but as Parker was happy driving Miss Penelope agreed we should continue!!!

We struggled to agree if 11:30 was breakfast/lunch so couldn't agree on a cafe/restaurant!!! Eventually found a lovely hotel that looked nothing special on the outside but was quite ornate inside. Poor translation of thank you that was a great meal....was taken as keep the change...as we left we agreed that was probably the best tip percentage wise we have given!!!!!!!

We then planned to do a stop at Munich but after the Satnav told us due to traffic we were being diverted which meant our arrival time went from 4:00 to 9:00....panic...we just kept driving!!!

At 5:00 we were 5 miles from our hotel and still no snow....then suddenly round the bend...snow, snow and meow snow.

Our accommodation is lovely and very traditional....unfortunately it's a 20 min walk to the ski lift..oh well we will have earned our hot chocolate and brandy!!!!

Quick meal out and early to bed ready for the fun tomorrow.
