Everything you can touch will not last forever

A clorious bright sunny day with blue skies and white clouds - and fresh white snow on the tree branches. What a happiness for a free weekend!

Tomorrow is the birthday of my stepmother, but I invited her for lunch already today. I freshly smoked salmon (this time I succeeded in salting the fish) and cooked smashed potatoes and made green salad with herbs. Ice cream and coffee for dessert. Quite delicious ;)
And I had bought her an pink hibiscus for a present. I think she liked her visit.

By the sunset I had time for a nice walk with the camera. Some beautiful shots from Pispala esker area. Ways and roads snowy and partly icy again - I just love my icebug shoes with steel staples. I wonder how an earth have I ever managed without them! As I got back home I heard this aforism. "Everything you can touch will not last forever" True. So true.

Sauna evening. And Saturday Night Live -show from television, it freshly has started in finnish tv. Funny actually!
