By the sea

It's quite a treat to be by the sea, as we only live near rivers. The sea was peaceful looking today, and with something always happening, whether it is the tide coming in or out, or the sun rising or setting, there is never a shortage of things to photograph.

We've come camping on the West Coast this weekend, and it's really nice to be away in the caravan, and not doing a lot. We're so lucky in New Zealand to be able to not go very far and enjoy our beautiful countryside.

We wondered down to the beach this evening to watch the sun set. I was amazed at the number of people doing exactly the same thing - and many of them were also taking photos of the sun going down. It's a very popular pass time.
