2016 Monday -- A Pirate

I think I saw a Cayucos pirate this afternoon.

We had walked on the beach with the pups, found a fistful of sea glass, and then made a stop at the library, which is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. Then Mr. Fun said as we were leaving the library that he was hungry for a snack.

So we decided to stop at the local pub to get an order of fries and one of onion rings. The bartender said he could order us a half-order of each, and that sounded good to us. Then we did something we seldom do, we each ordered a brew to wet our whistle. I had a Guinness and he had something, a craft beer, from some local small brewery.

While we were sitting there, the locals from this community had gathered at the bar and I captured this photo. I thought maybe I was looking at a pirate.

Then we headed back to the house to watch sundown and to make dinner and enjoy our final Monday evening in Cayucos.
