Another Pelican

Spent some time today trawling along the river...I was practicing taking panoramas. The light was beautiful...very moody and cloudy with just a bit of the sinking sun peeping through at times.

I noticed a flotilla (that's what I call it..it seems appropriate) of pelicans over the other side..........after I had finished I got in my car and took a leisurely drive to go over and check them out.

There were four of them....they were so friendly and so close I could almost touch them......I was in heaven...even though I sat in Seagull poo to get a better angle......I took so many photos of them...this way and that...the four of them together...then just two.....etc.

My dilemma was which one to choose......YAAARGGH!

It could of been any of 6 but I chose this one...I liked the droplet of water falling from his beak and the gentle reflection.

Expect to see more Pelican shots....I LOVE THEM.

The feathers and detail of him is fabulous LARGE.
