Raspberry Ripple...

Another flower blip.  It's been a flowertastic week!!  This is one of the carnations Norma brought me earlier at the weekend.

Well today seems to have gone by in a flash.

This afternoon D and I met with the Gastro consultant and the gastro nurse to discuss the pros and cons of Alan having a gastrostomy.   They medics agree with us about the benefits to Alan of having this but they wanted to go over the risks involved both at the time of the procedure and afterwards.  It was agreed we would think about it over the weekend and let them know at the start of the week.

We've not really had the chance to discuss it properly yet as D is out on a lads curry night, but the brief discussion we did have on the way home would indicate that we both still feel the pros outweigh the cons.

D left for his curry night and I pimped the sad cheese and tomato pizza with parma ham, red onion and pesto stuffed olives.  It wasn't bad :)

Feet up now and watching First Dates.  Love this programme :))))
