Playfair

The British Art Show 8 opened today so we wandered up to the Gallery of Modern Art and then got bussed over to the Talbot Rice. Wish I could say the work was great but to me a lot of it wouldn't have been out of place in a degree show. However the great and the good and the hangers on of the Edinburgh art world seemed to be out in force; I've never seen so many folk at a 'local' opening. Could be they were attracted by the cocktails that were on offer and flowing freely in the Playfair Library!
