Cat blip...

Some days are just like this ... you stand outside, freezing your bum off,  trying to get some sort of interesting bird shot, then spend a ridiculous amount of time editing, faffing and fartnarkling around ...and then you end up blipping your very willing cat.  

Charlie doesn't like people, so whenever we have company he gets all freaked out and hides under one of the beds.  But, the very minute said company is gone, he's back downstairs wanting attention and generally being adorable.  So while he was lazing around in his bed under the window, I grabbed a red scarf and a macro lens and had some fun.  This shot was selected for no other reason than that it made me laugh.  

Hubs and I had a great visit with his friend, Mike, last night and this morning.  It was fun listening to the two of them reminisce about the days when they worked together, some 30 years ago.  Mike picked out several of my photos that he wants to have framed, and in exchange, he let me take a few photos of he and hubs.  My favorite of them will go in Extra if you'd care to have a look.  

Temps have taken a nose dive and it is unbelievably cold outside.  Can't wait to get to Arizona on Sunday!
