...after the flood

...after the 7 hour drive from North Wales to Tavistock yesterday and rather a late whisky fuelled night last night needed to chill today.  Spent the morning unpacking, doing the washing.  Did some shopping and met Karen in town for lunch.  Made a spag bol for dinner.  And apart from eating the spag bol that was it! 

It seems that while we were away, the south west had severe flooding.  The drains in a nearby road to us could not cope and the water forced it's way out, throwing manhole covers into the air and breaking up the tarmac.  So the road is closed and there are giant pumps and pipes all over the place!
