Big Bird & Me, London

A very quick shot on the way to catch my train home from Victoria. This is a hoarding in front of huge new shopping/office space complex and somehow I managed to capture myself twice, once with all my newspapers tucked under my arm!
I was very sad to learn today that The Independent, my favourite newspaper, is going online only from next month. A sad demise for an intelligent, thoughtful newspaper.
Had crap journeys both to and from work today - the amorphous "adverse rail conditions" was quoted but it was still no excuse for the lack of correct information as regards when the sodding trains were actually going to run. At least it's Friday and I'm at home writing this while enjoying a nice glass of chilled white wine, with a Thai green curry simmering in the oven!
