Day 043/16. Good evening Mr Peake......
There was a pass overhead last night of the International Space Station. One of the clearest nights for a long time and a perfect overhead opportunity. I wrapped up warm, armed myself with my monopod, and equipped the camera with my big 600mm lens. There was even a crescent moon to give me a focus reference to manually set focus to infinity.
So, over the horizon the ISS comes...... I take about 30 shots. This is the clearest and the best of them all. The ISS is pretty amazing, and I amazed myself at getting a picture that is almost recognisable.
