An electric kettle from a blip virgin

Please be gentle with me, I'm very new to inspired and artistic photography. But I do want to practice and get better.

It's just an electric kettle. But it's a beautiful electric kettle; it's also my kettle and the picture was taken in my kitchen. I know it's not an inspirational picture but it's only my second attempt; hopefully, someone may see merit in the picture. I might get better at this photo journal malarkey; and if I don't; I'm happy in the fact that I'm learning something along the way.
