Dépanneur

I took this picture as I was waiting for a friend outside the entrance to the parkade. The proliferation of signs struck me (there are several more outside the frame), as did the utter lack of concern for pleasant design.

The dépanneur (the local word for corner store) was closing and the lady who came out to pick up the signs asked me if I was taking pictures because I worked for the government.

I must have been wearing a really bad tie.
