Breakdown

A breakdown in the center lane makes a thorny mess of traffic all rush-hour long.  I first thought of these clusters of spines as sparkling automobiles from the future.  I don't know why.  But I'm pretty sure a breakdown in the center lane will snarl things in the future just as badly as it does now.  These actually seem to be handling it all very well.
