Mixed day today.  Liberal swearing at a non-starting chainsaw (later started) which prevented the main task of the day, but I did successfully re-assemble the grandfather clock we collected from Oxford yesterday, which is now ticking gently behind me.

We went to see the 'Snow Maiden' ballet this evening at the Malvern theatre, with 'A'.  It was good, particularly the lead dancers (not that I have half a clue about ballet) but I didn't think it quite justified the dragged-out rapturous 'bravo' applause; I've seen folk dancers in much better sync.
