Near Miss or What.....

We had an epic journey from home today, first a rip down the M40 and M25  to Heathrow to fly to Atlanta then change to an internal flight to Orlando. On this flight we were spread out all over the plane and Maddi was not going to be by us either, but a kind guy swapped with Mrs Bm and that was settled, a good thing this flight was only 55mins.

This image was taken on the the Virgin flight and we were overtaking a Swiss Air Flight and I think this was very close, less than 1000' at my estimation, does that qualify as a near miss?
