Rack of ribs

Destination London today, for a meeting at the RAC Club in Pall Mall. It was a beautiful morning, and my stroll back to Charing Cross took me across Trafalgar Square past the National Gallery.

Under the watchful gaze of Nelson on his column, this ribby horse is the current occupant of the fourth plinth where different pieces of sculpture reside for a while before being replaced by the next one. I rather care for this one, it is an intricate and interesting structure, although not as colourful as the giant blue cockerel that preceded it!
