All Ready

This is backblipped. It had been a busy week with lots of macro photos to edit and stack. I took a couple of photos of the lodge for Facebook and, somehow, never got round to doing proper blip-type shots this day.

So, here at amber nook, we have finished the deep clean done in the quiet time and have everything spick and span awaiting the meeting with the Visit England inspector scheduled for Monday, 1st February. Always nerve-wracking time.

Little did we know that we would get a booking at this time of year so I rescheduled the inspection for 15th February. To our utter amazement we then acquired a three week booking following the other one. Four weeks booked in February! That has never happened before.

The downside was that the inspection couldn't be moved forward into March so I had to ask the guests if they would allow me to take the inspector in during their stay. I apologized profusely and they were very understanding and are letting us go in on Monday. 

We will see how we get on!
