Rural Manacor

Another train journey today, this time to the inland town of Manacor.....which is the second largest town in Mallorca.....and home to Majorica Pearls and to a very well known Spanish tennis player!
We didn't go to the Pearl factory, nor did we meet up with Rafa....but we enjoyed wandering around the small town, which is the service centre for this agricultural area......
once again we saw hundreds of almond trees laden with pink and white blossom, and hundreds of orange, lemon and olive trees.
My Blip shows a shop selling traditional hand made baskets, wooden stools, and chairs.....another part of the rural economy.
