Frosty wall

A tiny section of the front wall on the third frosty morning of winter.

Jaw update. I saw the specialist again today and we saw the MRI scan.

The MRI showed a spur of bone growth on the left hand side. Apparently lots of people get these on various joints and it could be one of the culprits of this situation. More likely is the years of jaw clenching. We discussed the situation and agreed that I should live with it and only consider treatment if the pain resumes in which case the surgeon can flush out the joint.  In addition, I have been told I have to wear my mouth guard every night and it has probably contributed to the reduction in pain { by holding my teeth apart and stopping me clenching my jaw }.

I am happy with this course of action. I have completely adapted to the restriction in opening, I don't miss nuts and crisps and I just give thanks that my manifestation of this problem is currently without pain.

Thank you all for your concern over the past few months, it's been greatly appreciated but hopefully you will never hear mention of my jaw again!
