Fallow deer at Dunham
Another lovely sunny day :-)
Hub and I had already decided we'd go to a local National Trust property, Dunham Massey, today. It's only half an hour from where we live and we've never been!
It was very enjoyable, we walked around the gardens, the lake, around the whole of the deer sanctuary, saw a few deer in the distance. Typically I decided to leave my zoom lens at home and took my wide angle for a change, bad decision :-(
Nevertheless I think you can see the deer fairly clearly, although further away than I would have liked! It's a little better large.
We went into their restaurant for some lunch, no sign of any sandwiches, the soup was parsnip, which hub hates, so we decided to drive to a local pub for lunch instead.
Back home mid afternoon, hub has cleaned th car, I've made a first attempt on this garden pond, it's so full of leaves and debris, but at least it's a start. The water was freezing!!
Just about to go and get changed, we are off out to see the new model of our car launched, a few nibbles and a glass of,fizz, no doubt.
Then after that, it's free to the quiz.......my it comes around so quickly!!!
