Slick with rain

The day started beautifully with a frosty sunrise. I decided not be be generous with my cold and arranged to work from home. At lunchtime I popped up to the library but by then the sun had gone and it was wet - again. This is the centre of Stirling in the rain. Like many towns it has suffered from online shopping and has really declined. When I first came to live here there were many, many 'proper' shops including several independent department stores. They've all gone and there are a few of the usual suspects but not all that many of them. I don't mind shopping but sadly I really don't find Stirling terribly inspiring as far as retail goes.
