A little bit of blue sky

There was a short spell of blue sky and sunshine this afternoon as Baby L and I went for our daily stroll. The blossom is out on one of the trees down our road.

The Health Visitor came to see us at lunchtime and I was pleased to hear that Baby L has put on 6 ounces in the last week. Even with her tongue tie issues she has got the hang of breastfeeding (and I'm getting a bit more comfortable with it, most of the time) and it's good that she's getting enough food.

Feeling a little down today but I'm told that it is normal with a newborn to have up and down days.
