Budding bush

A beautiful sunny day today, but quite cold.  Was out for lunch with some girlfriends, and then did my banking and shopping in the town centre...... and bought myself a new pair of shoes, half price, good leather walking shoes, very comfortable.

The garden is still pretty dead, although there are lots of daffodils coming up they have a way to go yet.  We are quite high and are usually quite late with the spring flowers.  However, there are lots of buds appearing on the bushes, which is a good sign of springtime.

It is lovely to get some sunshine anyhow!
