View from the ship

Went with a friend to the Ash Wednesday service in Halsall this morning, which was really nice. After the service we went for morning coffee at the Scarisbrick marina. The sun was glorious and we were going to go for a little walk but the wind was strong and cold so we went straight on to find a new lunch venue, The Ship Inn at Haskayne. It was lovely on the bank of the canal.

I had my camera with me ... but the battery was flat! This was taken on my phone. 

Spent the afternoon sorting through some admin.
