Red Shank
This lovely red shank was jumping out of the way of the waves as they came crashing in at Rosemarkie today. A very high tide leaving just abit of beach left. One man was busy fishing, do nt think he caught anything though. The waves made a wonderful sound.
Mike left me at the beach so I went for a walk along the waters edge and then along the path to the beginning of the Fairy Glen. Snowdrops and winter aconites were in bloom and a few celandines too. Great to see some colour returning.
A nice day again with a little bit of snow this morning which did nt come to anything. Cold out of the sun though and a chilly breeze.
