Soft and contented

Went over to see Ross today in Luton. He's currently on chemo session 3 of 12. The nurse comes out on a Tuesday, hooks him up to his bottle of stuff for 72 hours. Then he has a rest week and starts all over again.
So although the op in December was quite successful the whole process of chemo will take 24 weeks which means nearly half the year!
He's doing remarkably well so far but apparently side effects don't kick in too badly till about treatment no 6. Gets very tired but we still managed to sit and chat about all and sundry for nearly 3 hours! During which, most of the time, Zeus sat sleeping.
