Bit nippy again.

Not much on the rivers or in the sky today but this chap came wandering along so it was a quick shot or two then further on my travels again.

I was looking at my older pics yesterday and they seem so much crisper than I get these days. Has anyone found similar? Thinking about a new lens might be the way to go to return that sharpness.
