Shopping Green

Many thoughts come to mind:
1. I love green, obsessed with it.
2. I like eating my greens.
3. I like the idea of practising a sustainable and environmentally responsible lifestyle, and I do my best.
4. I very much don't like the above being labelled green. I get quietly enraged that it is green this and green that. Try brown, the earth is brown. You dig it, and it comes up brown, not green!

Leaving that schizo moment aside, Malacca is the first place in the country to go fully plastic bag-less. As of new year, the state banned the usage of all plastic bags. Going shopping to the mall today, I folded up this tote, stuck it into my shorts pocket, and felt mighty proud of myself and my tote.
