Ash Wednesday ...

..... Is the 1st day of Lent a time running up to Easter day , which on the Christian calendar is very important.
This has been a dry day with varying amounts of cloud and a little sun peeping through at times. I must say it is looking a lot like spring now , I've finally got daffodils blooming, they were in tight buds for weeks I had given up that they'd ever bloom. Reward comes to those who wait!
Church service tonight and not much else.
