Pheasant

Half way through my lunch I spotted this huge pheasant in my garden.  He first visited me on 31st January and this is the first time I've seen him since.  Forget lunch - grab camera - click!  He kept himself hidden and when I moved to get a better shot of him clear of the bushes he ran off.  He really is big, even for a pheasant, as you can see from his height against the gooseberry bush.  I think he must be as big as a female capercaillie  -  obviously well fed. One of these days I might be able to capture him without the bush camouflage.  Great clouds again today and the sun even peeps through them from time to time:)
