Oh what a beautiful morning!

Not quite as early as some days but we were out and heading up onto our moor at 8.00am and boy was it worth it.

Through the woods and onto Harden moor for wonderful vistas and clear blue skies. The only problem was the sun in our eyes. Liked this shadow of me looking towards the little tree on the horizon.

No rain and minimum mud compared with recent walks though I did have on my new over trousers as washing my winter walking trousers 3 days in a row last week seemed a bit much!

It had been predicted that there would be a cold wind but it was beautifully calm and made me think that perhaps Spring really is just around the corner and all those Spring flowers popping up everywhere have got it right!
