Alan Mathison Turing

Joined the International Office trip to Manchester today. I first went to Manchester 4 years ago and I could not honestly remember the city and where i have been to. I decided to join the trip and I was like transported to a new place again. I first went to Alan Turing's Memorial, Town Hall then to the Calatrava Bridge and then to Manchester Cathedral (Extra Photos). I forgot that i planned on going to the Rylands Library but i totally forgot about my itinerary and skipped to Manchester Cathedral. By the time i realized it, it was already pouring hard outside and i was way off the library to have enough time to walk there and be back in time for the coach's departure. The weather was so uncooperative as it rained the whole day even when we were travelling back to Warwick, the rain wont let up. I nevertheless enjoyed the trip (as usual when i am out and about, it's a given that i would enjoy it) and had dimsum (Gong Xi Fa Cai!) in a Chinese restaurant in Manchester before leaving.
