Tuesday: Being Driven

Literally.  The advantage to being driven to meetings is that you can take a picture when nothing else presents itself.

'Reading The World' by Ann Morgan is about the year the author spent reading a book from every country in the world (196 in total).  She was worried that she had fallen into a white male English-speaking author rut so decided to take on this challenge.  It's an interesting premise, but, to be honest, there are quite a lot of books by white, male English-speaking authors that I still want to read and that are probably more appealing than an obscure tome from Liechtenstein.  I also read a recent article by her that suggested she speed read everything which I object to in principle.  But it does raise the question on how to expand your reading, while also making time for the 'predictables'.
