The rain eventually went off and we had a decent afternoon and evening.  However all the ground is absolutely saturated so we badly need a sustained dry spell which won't happen anytime soon.

I know we aren't associated with them any longer but I was very disappointed to see Polaroid have announced the closure of their eyeware factory here in Vale of Leven with the work transferred to China and the loss of over 100 jobs.
