Poverty

This morning we ditched school, and the children and I helped out at a holiday B club for Cn and yezidi refugees in this beautiful village. It was so much fun! I got to do the translation for the yezidi children which I loved.

I then went with a friend to visit a family in that village who are living in terrible conditions. Their house can only be described as a hovel. The 13 year old daughter looks after her 5 younger siblings as their dad left them and the mum and older sister are in prison. It was really upsetting seeing children live in such dire poverty. We really want to help but are not sure what's best.
