Work in progress - "Amethyst"

Didn't get much art done yesterday since I was distracted with packing parcels, housework, marketing and all other manner of "stuff". Today is different...I'm in the studio, music is cranked up, coffee on the bench and I'm pumped!

I don't often use purple, violet, mauve, or any other shade in that family much...but I have this gorgeous textured canvas that has been hanging around the studio for awhile..so today is its day to have its first few coats of lovely acrylics.

I'll post more progress shots later on.
