Imogen

Yikes - what a wild night! Hurricane force off Kinsale, gusts of over 150kmp at Cork airport and Sherkin Island nearly blown out of the water. Imogen (not to be confused with Imelda) is still having  a good old roar but I think we're just down to gale status now. Amazingly the electricity and internet has stayed on apart from a quick splutter this morning, We went down to Kitchen Cove to see what the water was like - not too bad in the Cove itself but gathering speed in the bay. This is actually in colour not mono!
Tons of interesting wells coming in now - well done to spotsoftime for  very enthusiastic explorations; Gennepher continues doing some extraordinary research into her well, and Tivoli found an ossary whilst searching amongst the Greek undergrowth; other fascinating ones coming in from the fens, Warwickshire and Carlisle - take a peek here .
