G was in London all day but got home in time to help me make dinner for his parents. Loads of roasted veg to go with the sweet potato gnocchi I made (first gnocchi attempt ever, pretty successful!). We also whipped up a quick chocolate cake which we purposefully underbaked so we could eat it hot and gooey.

When we were all full to bursting we slumped on the sofa and looked at photos from Antarctica. Lots of penguins.
