Someone Else's Adventure

Took a trip in to town to the Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival. This gave the chance to relax with a coffee and pastry and watch other people having exciting and exhausting adventures. We saw kayaking and cycling to Cape Wrath, extreme skiing in Albania, generations of skiers in America, and paraclimbers on the Eiger. Oh, and a 2 year old doing a 'first ascent' up a hillock - gorgeous and every bit as adventurous as the others. She even joined her mum on stage to introduce the film.
And that was all before lunch! I spent the afternoon sleeping on the sofa while the rugby was in Tv. I've succumbed to the family cold, so now feeling sorry for myself.
